Who is Blessed Carlo Acutis? Why is he that well known? What did he contribute to our Catholic faith? 

These are the questions that most of us we ask when we heard when the news of the beatification of an obscure teen that sent shock waves in the entire world. (Probably like it the case of St. Therese of the Child Jesus) News outlets worldwide covered the events online as the whole world watched the preparations leading up to his beatification day from the uncovering of his intact remains of this young holy man in his resting place to the amazement of everyone up to his momentous beatification rites that was also attended by his own parents and siblings. Numerous documentaries and write-ups popped up everywhere both in print and online presenting the life that he lived. 

Strangely, he also received criticism from non-Catholics and nominal Catholics alike because of his advancement towards sainthood and couldn't grasp on how it all happened or how did someone of his age got all these great attention to the whole Church. It was from this circumstance, along with limited availability of a comprehensive literature about his life that this blog came about. 

The main purpose of setting up this blogsite dedicated to Blessed Carlo Acutis is to help further propagate his saintly life that already inspired millions of Catholics of all ages throughout the world and foster a growing devotion to him in the world where everything is paradoxical. The blog will be featuring a more detailed biographical sketch of this Child of the Eucharist of the Internet age which is yet to be available in the English language (thanks to our collection of Italian main sources that we would cite at the course of the study), some notable features on his life, news from the Association dedicated for the propagation of his cause for sainthood and other features that would help the faithful who will be reaching this blog to get to know our beloved beato a bit more. 

In this time where the Internet becomes a swift source of information, entertainment, and income (among other things), we need someone that would help us to live a holy life despite of these numerous changes, especially on fostering the devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and to His beloved Mother and an example of someone who, despite of his tender age, did something Christianly extraordinary in the ordinariness of daily life. .
